This is a great dish to make as a quick appetizer or as fingerfood for a party. It’s so simple that you don’t really need a recipe for it. Still, for the sake of completeness, here it is:
You need:
2 packets of dried prunes
2 pack of lard slices (the type you’d use for scrambled eggs)
toothpicks
Preparation:
Cut the lard slices to half their length. One by one, roll prunes into individual pieces of lard, and fix the lard with a toothpick. Prepared like this, the prunes can be kept overnight in the fridge.
Lightly oil a large frying pan and heat it to 3/4 heat. Add prunes topan and fry unti the lard is crispy. Drip off on blotter paper, and serve immediately.
